Because light roasts are dense and carry delicate floral/fruity aromatics, controlling your steep time ensures maximum flavor clarity without over-extracting.
- Pitch the Bag: 10 seconds.
Drop one cold brew sachet into a clean pitcher or mason jar. - Add Water & Cover: 30 seconds.
Pour in 350ml to 400ml of fresh, room-temperature or cold filtered water directly over the bag, ensuring it is fully submerged. Seal or cover the vessel tightly. - The Slow Steep: 12 to 14 Hours.
Place in your refrigerator and let it steep for 12 to 14 hours. (Note: Do not steep beyond 16 hours, as light roasts can begin to lose their delicate berry notes). - Remove & Serve: 10 seconds.
Gently lift and discard the sachet without squeezing it (to keep the brew bright and sediment-free). Serve chilled over ice.
